Bush - Ski Jump House

Nestled in large bush acreage and surrounded by tall Eucalypts this delicate curving roof lightweight framed and light filled housesits in harmony with its setting. The need to capture filtered light through the tall canopy of gums was the inspiration for this simple upward reaching glass and wood clad roof pavilion like home loosely based on the Kosciusko ski jumps in NSW. 


This steel framed house with infill glass and timber cladding seeks to capture the beauty of the Australian bush and, at night, allow the moon and stars to whisper into the upper living rooms no curtain highlight windows.


This house design demonstrates the opportunities available even on a steep sloping site whilst responding properties wonderful natural elements.
